Interncept
One listing, every source it appears on, fresh results, fewer wasted clicks.
Interncept is an aggregator of US internships that sits above scattered job boards. It does not host applications — when you apply, you are routed to the original posting on the source platform.
The same internship, over and over.
Searching for internships means checking many job boards and company websites — and seeing the same role on every one of them. You waste clicks rediscovering listings you've already read, and half of them turn out to be weeks old.
Many boards. Many tabs. One internship.
Interncept does the backtracking for you.
Every source, unified.
Interncept aggregates the public market into a single, deduplicated feed — the big job boards, the application platforms companies post on directly, and company career pages themselves.
Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, SmartRecruiters, Workday, Workable, Recruitee, iCIMS, SuccessFactors, Taleo, Teamtailor, Pinpoint, JazzHR, Jobvite, Breezy HR, BambooHR, Eightfold.ai, UKG, Paylocity, and BrassRing are the hiring platforms thousands of companies use to post their own openings — Interncept reads them directly, so you see the role exactly as the company posted it. USAJOBS is the U.S. government's official site, where federal agencies post their own internships directly. University Careers isn't a single board — it's the catch-all for internships posted on university career centers and student employment offices (`.edu` hosted), where schools list roles for their students and alumni. State Workforce isn't a single board either — it's the catch-all for state-run job banks and workforce boards, where individual states publish openings through their own employment portals (distinct from USAJOBS, which is the federal government's site). Company Careers isn't a single board — it's the catch-all for roles pulled straight from individual companies' own career pages. Enterprise Boards isn't a single board — it's the catch-all for proprietary careers portals built bespoke for massive tier-1 enterprise tech companies (Apple, Google, Netflix, Amazon, Meta, etc).
The Crowd-Sourced pipeline automatically ingests massive student-curated GitHub repositories, Reddit megathreads, and Y Combinator's Hacker News to discover high-signal roles dropped straight by founders and recruiters before they even hit the job boards.
Every source, every day
Each day, Interncept collects internship listings from the major job boards, the platforms companies post on directly (Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby), and company career pages — across every field, not just tech.
Duplicates become one
When the same role shows up across multiple sources — even with reworded descriptions — Interncept recognizes it and merges it into a single listing.
Every source, kept
Nothing is thrown away. Each merged listing keeps a link to every source it was found on, so you choose where to apply.
Adjacent Roles Included
While "Internship" is our namesake, Interncept is designed to be the ultimate discovery layer for all temporary, early-career, and student-focused opportunities. The platform's aggregation engine strictly filters out full-time and senior roles, but intentionally encompasses a wide umbrella of adjacent positions, including:
- Co-ops
- Externships
- Practicums
- Student Placements
- Apprenticeships
- Fellowships
One card. Every source on it.
- The company's logo — or its initials when no logo exists.
- A short descriptor so you know what the company actually does.
- How long ago it was posted, always current.
- Work arrangement, location, type, and pay at a glance.
- A tile for every source this role was found on. Each one links straight to the original posting.
What about Handshake? Interncept aggregates the open web. Because Handshake is a closed university network, we don't pull listings from it.
We highly recommend that you continue using Handshake alongside Interncept. Handshake provides exclusive access to companies specifically recruiting at your school, while Interncept provides a deduplicated feed of the entire public market. Using both ensures you don't miss a thing!
Nothing stale, ever.
Fresh listings get flagged
Anything added in the last 48 hours wears a New badge, so you can check back daily and see only what's actually new.
Age is always visible
Every listing shows exactly how long it's been up. No guessing whether a posting is still worth your time.
Old listings disappear
Listings older than 30 days are removed automatically. If you can see it on Interncept, it's recent.
Save it. Apply to it. Or both.
Saving and applying are tracked separately. Marking an internship as applied never removes it from your saved list — your shortlist and your progress live side by side in My Internships.
Your shortlist
Save anything worth a second look. It stays saved until you unsave it.
Your progress
Once you've applied on the original board, mark it here. Applied listings take the mint treatment so they're easy to spot.
No catch.
It never applies for you
Interncept routes you to the original posting. You apply there, the way the company intended.
It never charges you
No paywalls, no résumé upsells, no premium tier. Interncept is free.
It never hides the source
Every listing shows exactly where it came from. Every source keeps the credit — Interncept just saves you the clicks.
